Dan Galysh

Dan Galysh, a Nashville-based pedal steel, lap steel, and dobro player, has been prominent in the music industry since 1991. His journey began in the late '70s—'80s, playing pedal steel in local and regional bands in northeastern Ohio and Northwestern Pennsylvania, a testament to his deep-rooted passion for music.

Since arriving in Nashville in 1991, Dan Galysh has been a sought-after talent, collaborating with diverse artists. He first made a mark as the pedal steel player for Aaron Tippin, a role he held throughout the ‘90s. His versatility is evident in his work with notable artists such as Lee Ann Womack, Rodney Atkins, Mo Pitney, and Joe Diffie. 

Dan Galysh is a prolific live performer and has made significant contributions to the music industry through his recordings. His pedal steel, lap steel, and dobro skills can be heard on albums by a wide array of artists, including The Payne Family, Tammy Cochran, Aaron Tippin, Suzanne Karr, Shawn Byrne, John Riggins, Suzanne Mumpower, Andrew Wolfe, Peter Vroman, Robynn Shane, Matt Farley, Glen Wagner, Tecia McKenna, and Ashley Sillay.
